Bad Bunny Doubles Spotify Numbers

spotify

Puerto Rican superstar Bad Bunny has had an incredible run of success on Spotify, evidenced by his impressive numbers in 2021 where he garnered over 9.1 billion streams without even releasing an album.

That followed his numbers in 2020 when he surpassed 8.3 million streams on the platform by December 1st.

Fast forward to 2022 and that success just ballooned. Bad Bunny tallied an astounding 18.5 billion streams on Spotify during 2022, becoming the platform’s biggest global artist and claiming those honors for a third consecutive year.

Bad Bunny also dominated the platform’s charts, with three of his tracks — Me Porto Bonito, Tití Me Preguntó, and Ojitos Lindos — which all appeared on the platform’s Top 10 tracks list, globally.

Bad Bunny’s studio album, Un Verano Sin Ti, which was released in May of this year, was the most streamed album around the world in 2022, topping the likes of Harry Styles’ Harry’s House, Olivia Rodrigo’s SOUR, Ed Sheeran’s = and Doja Cat’s Planet Her.
