Marvel’s reboot of ‘Blade’ will have to find a new director as Yann Demange has reportedly exited the film, marking yet another shakeup for the project that has had it’s fair share of changes and delays, according to The Wrap.
Per the report, director Yann Demange (“Lovecraft Country”) has officially departed Marvel’s new Blade movie, an “entirely amicable” split they say happened “a while ago.” This marks the second time that the film has seen it’s director depart, with Bassam Tariq (Mogul Mowgli) exiting the project back in September 2022.
The film is currently slated to hit theaters on November 7th 2025, with Eric Perason working on the script and Michael Starrbury, Nic Pizzolatto and Michael Green writing previous draft, but given all of the issues that the film has had to this point, and will likely continue, a delay may be likely.
