Tony Todd, the star of the horror classic Candyman and featured in a litany of other big films, died at his home in Los Angeles this Wednesday at the age of 69.
Todd was also a part of popular films such as Final Destination, Transformers, The Crow, Night of the Living Dead, as The Rock. Todd made his break into the industry in the 1986 Oliver Stone war drama Platoon.
Additionally, Todd was a star on stage making a mark in theater that included a run in the Broadway production of the musical Aida.
Many have taken to social media to pay tribute to Todd, such as his manager Jeff Goldberg and Virginia Madsen, his co-star in the Candyman horror series.
