Michael B. Jordan is gearing up for his sophomore feature as director as he is set to direct and star in the upcoming Amazon MGM Studios film ‘The Thomas Crown Affair’, according Deadline, via The Hollywood Reporter.
The project will see Jordan and Amazon MGM Studios team up once again following the massive success of Creed III which drummed up $276.1 million globally, and Jordan will also co-produce the film with Elizabeth Raposo.
Amazon MGM intends to give the film an exclusive, global run in movie theaters, per the report.
The series dates back to the Norman Jewison 1968 film which starred Steve McQueen and Faye Dunaway, and a 1999 remake starred Pierce Brosnan and Rene Russo.
