The highly anticipated follow up to Disney’s ‘Moana’ has dropped a brand new song called “We’re Back” which is entirely focused on Moana (Auli’i Cravalho) returning home from a trip, which was played in a recent TV spot teasing ‘Moana 2’.
The spot also included some brief footage of the film, including the return of Maui (Dwayne Johnson).
According to the official synopsis: “Moana 2 reunites Moana and Maui three years later for an expansive new voyage alongside a crew of unlikely seafarers. After receiving an unexpected call from her wayfinding ancestors, Moana must journey to the far seas of Oceania and into dangerous, long-lost waters for an adventure unlike anything she’s ever faced.”
The film is being directed by David G. Derrick Jr. and is set to arrive in theaters on November 27th.
